How Bands Work

These bands are manufactured in the closed position
which is why they require pliers to take off. There is no fastener to
wear out. They can be used over and over. |

the bands on as we sex our youngsters and we use 2 different colors
to specify hens or cocks. |

Colored bands can be used identify birds from key
pairings. Many 1-Loft races are using them as well because there is
no fastener to break and they do not come off. |
Clipon chip as the pictures show, easily slide around
the band, but is securely attached and will not fall off |
CBS used this for the last 2 seasons. We did not
lose any and they are our favorite chips. |
