| There will be
4 races, all earning points. Prize money will be paid out only for the
300 mile race, Champion Bird and Champion Loft. The top 50 birds in each
race receive points. The points will be as follows: 150 miles 1st 75 pts, 2nd 74 pts, 3rd 73 pts, ... 50th 26pts. 200 miles 1st 100 pts, 2nd 99 pts, 3rd 98 pts, ... 50th 51pts. 200 miles 1st 100 pts, 2nd 99 pts, 3rd 98 pts, ... 50th 51pts. 300 miles 1st 125 pts, 2nd 124pts, 3rd 123 pts, ... 50th 76 pts. All points are based on trapping order. Champion Loft - this is based on the total points accumulated from the 3 birds entered per breeder, from all four races. In case of tie for 1st Prize, the loft with the highest point total on the 300 mile race wins the Mercedes SUV (or cash equivalent). Champion Bird - this is based on the total points accumulated from the 4 races. In case of tie, the highest position on the 300 mile race wins the Toyota SUV (or cash equivalent). On the 300 mile race, prize money will be split equally between the drops. All birds will have their 10th flight pulled and grown in prior to training. All birds will be medicated and cared for under the advice of Dr. David Marx DVM. There will be weekly updates on the web, go to www.cbspigeon.com and click on Mercedes Classic. Birds will be inventoried every Thursday and you will be notified immediately if any replacements are needed. Races will start mid - October and be flown every week thru mid - November. Exact dates will be arranged to avoid convention conflicts. Entries limited to 135 participants. (teams) Payout based on full entry. All prize money, $1200 per team will be paid out. Audited financial statements will be provided at the end of race season. |
Win 3 Vehicles the Same Weekend In Oklahoma City Mercedes Classic will cooperate with the World of Wings Truck Race. We will fly our final race the same weekend as the Truck Race. Birds can be shipped in at the same time to save shipping cost. ***Watch for special entry for joint payout between the two races*** |
